Fall 2022: Design Principles Studio
We were tasked with taking an artist (in this case, I got Sandy Skoglund), taking an art piece of theirs, and creating a pixelated version by creating all of the colors from scratch with paint to understand color theory. We couldn’t use any black or white and had to figure out the ratio of color combinations through trial and error. The key is to stand really far back when looking at the final product, and you’ll see it really come to life.
