ABOUT

Hello, my name is Darby Huber, and I am a recent graduate of Auburn University, pursuing a B.S. in Interior Design with a minor in General Business. Im eager to bring my multi-discipline approach to the interior design field.

Growing up, I had the unique experience of moving frequently, immersing myself in diverse design trends and cultural aesthetics. One formative experience was watching one of our homes come to life, from the studs to the final finishes, which solidified my fascination with the transformative power of design.

From a young age, I’ve been enthralled with art, which inspired me to draw, paint, sketch, and build models, which naturally guided me toward the field of interior design. My commitment to constant learning and exploration has expanded my skills across multiple disciplines. I’ve honed my abilities in architectural sketching of exteriors and interiors, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, furniture design, and graphic design. My projects range from designing a 106-page magazine and crafting hand-painted nail sets inspired by the interiors of the Chigi Palace, an exercise in interpreting design through a unique lens.

I thrive on challenging myself to find innovative solutions that push the boundaries of design. Once I’ve mastered the rules, I enjoy breaking them to create bold, out-of-the-box concepts.
